Le Segala is a stunning self catering farmhouse set in the spectacular countryside of the Lot & Quercy region of South West France.
Completely renovated to a high standard with the addition this year of a swimming pool, which is due to be completed in May 2012.
The farmhouse has three beautiful bedrooms, sleeping up to seven people. Surrounded by fields & forests it is a truly picturesque location in which to unwind.

La Recreation is a wonderful restaurant situated in the picturesque village of Les Arques, which is a 10 minute drive from Le Segala. The restaurant is very famously locally and has even had a book written about it . .From here you can.t see Paris.. It is particularly lovely in the summer months as you can sit outside under the wisteria and chestnut trees. They have set menu which is around .35 for four courses. La Terasse . Grezels Open lunch times daily, sometimes closes for the whole of September for family holidays T: 05 65 36 44 12 . Booking well in advance is essential. Very little English spoken.
La Terasse is a very well know local restaurant, where tables for Sunday lunch are booked well in advance. The menu is usually 6 courses and is fixed, the price is approx .25, which includes wine and coffee. La Teresse is located in Grezels which is a 15 minute drive across the river. The restaurant is a truly authentic experience and is run by an older French couple. The food is superb and worth a visit.

A special occasion restaurant. It is has a Michelin star and boast famous clientele. As you would imagine the food is impeccable and there is a huge and wide ranging wine list. A rustic French food experience. The menu changes every day. Priced at around .15 for the set lunch menu with wine and an a la carte in the evening. It is rural restaurant which has had a book written about it. It has been run by the same family since 1904. . Le Poule au Pot . Goujounac Standard lunch and evening opening times T: 05 65 36 65 48 . Booking is advised, or turn up early 12ish. Very little English spoken.
A very large selection of good quality farm food. A set priced menu with wine is about .18. Has a very good reputation and is usually full.
Ma Chaumiere . Prayssac Standard lunch and evening opening times. T: 05 65 22 40 52 . Booking is advised. A little English spoken.
A wonderful local restaurant. We had our wedding party here and I can say that the food and wine are brilliant and very reasonably priced. Has a set menu with wine for about .20.
La Vigne Haute . Castlefranc Open every day except Wednesday for lunch and dinner. T: 05 65 53 08 45 . Booking is advised. English Spoken
An informal French dining experience which is very popular with the locals. Menu of the day is about .14 with wine.
Others Far too many to mention, but a good Pizza place in Praysacc and also one in Puy L.Eveque. Numerous restaurants in Cahors, best to check with the local tourist office for recommendations, but if you just head for the centre of the town there are plenty situated along the main boulevard. Be aware that most stop serving lunch at 2pm., so make sure you are there well before.
