Ground Floor
Large, open plan, modern oak kitchen which is equipped to a high standard - dishwasher, oven and hob, fridge freezer, ironing board and plenty of crockery and glasses.
Very large open plan dining and lounge area with large wood burning stove. Large dining table and plenty of comfy seating on our beautiful chesterfield sofas. All decorated and furnished to a very high standard.
A modern and light family bathroom is situated downstairs. Recently fitted to a high standard with twin sinks and a large power shower.
A large utility room is attached to the house but reached from an external door. This room is the old bread oven and is large enough for you to store bikes and canoes in. The washing machine, outdoor equipment and BBQ are stored in here.
Upper Floor
Bedroom 1 - A large double aspect room overlooking the small orchard and patio area. Beautifully decorated with French antique furniture.
Bedroom 2 - A mezzanine room in the middle of the house. Traditionally decorated with original French beds. A small double and single bed
Bedroom 3 - The largest bedroom in the house which was the original farm kitchen. There is a large inglenook fire, original stone sink and door which opens up on to a small seating area with stairs leading into the garden. Again, this room is decorated with French antiques.
A selection of antique and modern bed linen and towels are stored in bedroom 1.
Swimming Pool and Garden
The 8m x 4m heated pool is situated to the front of the house and is a new addition this year.
The patio to the front of house is very large and we have recently added a larger table and chairs there, which will comfortably seat 8 people. Two benches which are situated in the garden can be moved if you need more seats. A large fig tree sits hanging over the patio area which fruits during August & September. There is also a small table & chairs at the top of stairs which lead out of bedroom 3.
The orchard area has a purpose built slide and swing set which is suitable for a variety of children's ages.
To the side of the barn is a large grassed area with double gates, which is mainly used for guest parking. Please ensure that these gates are closed when children are playing in the garden as this is the county lane which leads to another property. There is also an outside tap for filling up the children's paddling pool.
You are welcome to use the fields and the woods which are at the front of the property.
